Priscilla Monger is a San Diego photographer who has been photographing since 1990. While working full-time as an accountant, she attended night classes and earned an associate’s degree in photography. Upon her mother’s passing, she discovered something that forever changed her life—a black-and-white photograph of her parents. On the back, written in pencil by her mother, were the words, “Little Priscilla took this picture at age 5.”Her passion for photography has been an endless journey of unexpected and special moments. The camera allows her to see limitless creative possibilities and grants her permission to set no boundaries. She uses it as her second set of eyes, capturing images that visually express how she feels and sees the world. Over time, she discovered the delicate balance between color, size, shape, and line. She describes herself as an image seeker, constantly searching for photographs waiting to be discovered. Her mission is to visually communicate that the universe holds an abundance of possibilities yet to be explored.
