Finding Connections

Artist Statement

This body of work explores how meaning is created through close looking and association. Each image is a fragment of texture, light, space, or form that gains resonance when placed alongside others. Through repetition, cropping, and shifts in color, the work

guides perception and invites attention to subtle relationships that might otherwise go unnoticed. Some images feel familiar, others more abstract, allowing viewers of all ages to engage through curiosity and imagination. The work encourages noticing, comparing, and discovering connections, where meaning emerges through the act of looking. In this way, the work becomes less about what is seen, and more about how we learn to see. Each viewer completes the work by finding connections of their own.
